Bookings for the Honda XL750 Transalp have now started in select cities for the first 100 clients.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) introduced the XL750 Transalp today at a starting price of Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom). The adventure tourer will be sold solely through the premium BigWing Top Line dealerships when it enters the nation in completely built up (CBU) configuration. Bookings for the XL750 Transalp are now open in Gurugram, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Indore, Kochi, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Kolkata for the first 100 customers. Delivery will begin next month.

The new 755cc liquid-cooled in-line two-cylinder engine in the Honda XL750 Transalp produces 92PS of maximum power and 75Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired to a 6-speed transmission. The cylinders are coated with Ni-SiC (Nickel-Silicon Carbide), as seen on the Honda CRF450R and Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade.

According to HMSI, the motorcycle’s electronic assistance, which operate via the throttle-by-wire (TBW) system, allow riders to select their desired combination of engine power, engine braking, and Honda selectable torque control (HSTC) with ABS and assist slipper clutch. The many riding modes are Sport, Standard, Rain, Gravel and User, which can be customized based on personal tastes.

The lightweight steel diamond frame underpins the Honda XL750 Transalp. The adventure tourer is outfitted with Showa 43mm SFF-CA USD front forks and a Pro-Link rear shock. Dual 310mm wave discs with hydraulic 2-piston calipers at the front and a 256mm single disc with 1-pot caliper at the rear conduct braking duties. ABS with dual channels is standard. The front wheel is 21 inches in diameter, while the rear wheel is 18 inches in diameter.

The Honda XL750 Transalp boasts an LED lighting system, an integrated windscreen, a huge tank, and an aluminum rear carrier. There has a 5.0-inch TFT display. This display can be customized to the rider’s liking, and it can be managed via the screen or the switchgear on the left handlebar.

The Honda smartphone voice control (HSVC) feature on the motorcycle connects the rider to their smartphone while on the move and offers voice management of calls, texts, music, and navigation. It also gets an emergency stop signal, which signals sudden braking to motorists behind it via flashing hazard lights. There is also an automatic turn signal cancellation feature.

The Honda XL750 Transalp comes in two colors: Ross White and Matte Ballistic Black.
