The Porsche Design edition of Honor’s Magic6 flagship phone was unveiled in March, and it is now officially accessible outside of China. Along with an amazing 50 MP primary camera with up to 15EV dynamic range and quicker, more precise autofocus, it also has 1 TB of storage and 24 GB of RAM.
The phone is not just a Magic6 Pro with an ostentatious rear cover. The primary camera features a redesigned OmniVision H9800 1/1.3″ sensor and a Porsche Taycan-inspired rear. The brightness of the 6.8″ LTPO OLED panel is much higher at 1,800 nits. According to Honor’s own testing, the dual-layer Tandem Display should increase the screen’s lifespan by up to 600%. After three years of use, the technology aims to reduce the display brightness degradation to less than 1%.
The 2020 Taycan’s hero color, Frozen Berry, and the iconic paint job of Porsche 911 race cars, Agate Gray, are the two colors that the Honor Magic6 RSR Porsche Design is offered in. Both colors are inspired by real Porsche sports cars.
In the UK, the Magic6 RSR Porsche Design is priced at £1,599. It will soon be accessible in EU regions as well as on the Honor website, Porsche-Design.com, starting today.
