The anime community’s Isekai followers were recently given access to fresh details regarding How Not to Summon a Demon Lord. After the second season of the show, which debuted in 2018, ended in 2021, viewers have been wondering if a third season will be produced.

The animation is based on the Yukiya Murasaki and Takahiro Tsurusaki light book series How Not to Summon a Demon Lord, also known as The King of Darkness Another World Story: Slave Magic in Japan. A manga adaptation of the series, written and illustrated by Naoto Fukuda, has also been released.

Regretfully, Tezuka Productions, the production studio behind the isekai series How Not to Summon a Demon Lord, has not yet announced a third episode renewal. The series has been off the air since the end of the second season in 2021.

The third season has been eagerly anticipated by fans, and there have been whispers that a new season may debut in 2023. That seems doubtful for now, though, given the lack of an official announcement from the developers. We sincerely hope that the producers will announce the resumption of the show as soon as possible this year.

There are currently 14 volumes in the original light novel series, with the most recent one coming out on June 2, 2021. The anime’s adherence to the novels has been called into question by the fans on numerous times, particularly during the second season.

It’s said that season 2’s tempo and composition did the original material no justice. Having said that, we know that a lot more stuff hasn’t made it to screen yet because the anime has essentially covered up to seven volumes. This sustains the fan base’s optimism for a third season.

Crunchyroll, which has the rights to release the show internationally, and Funimation both offer streaming versions of How Not to Summon a Demon Lord. When season 3 is released, hopefully it will also be available on those streaming services.

In order to support the creators and the production studio, we advise our readers to watch their favorite anime on official streaming services.
