On September 19, 2023, Reliance Jio will launch Jio AirFiber, a new wireless internet service. The service is a portable wireless internet service built for homes and companies, with rates of up to 1.5 Gbps, allowing customers to stream high-definition videos, play online games, and conduct video conferences without lag. Mukesh Ambani, the chairperson and managing director of Reliance Industries, revealed during the 2023 AGM that Jio AirFiber would go live on Ganesh Chaturthi.
Jio AirFiber also includes parental controls, Wi-Fi 6 capability, and an integrated security firewall. It is worth noting that the Jio AirFiber service was first launched at the company’s 45th annual general meeting last year.

Speed: Jio AirFiber is said to provide internet speeds of up to 1.5 Gbps, exceeding Jio Fiber’s 1 Gbps speed. It is crucial to note, however, that the real speed of Jio AirFiber may vary depending on the distance from the nearest tower.
