Maruti Suzuki India has introduced the Thunder edition of the Jimny to make the off-roader more accessible to buyers. The Jimny Thunder version is Rs 2 lakh less expensive than the Jimny Zeta.
The Jimny Thunder edition is priced at Rs 10.74 lakh (ex-showroom) on the Maruti Suzuki Nexa website. This is the introductory pricing for a limited time.
Maruti Suzuki India has not issued an official statement regarding the upgrades to the Jimny Thunder edition. The Maruti Suzuki Jimny Thunder edition is powered by the same K15B 1.5-litre petrol engine, which produces 105PS and 134Nm of peak torque. It has both a 5-speed manual transmission and a 4-speed automatic transmission.
A ladder frame chassis underpins the Jimny. It comes fitted with ALLGRIP PRO 4WD technology and a low-range transfer gear (4L mode).
