2023 Royal Enfield Himalayan

The Royal Enfield Himalayan 2023 is now available for pre-order at an affordable rate.

At the Motoverse festival in Goa, Royal Enfield unveiled the all-new Himalayan adventure motorcycle. The starting price is Rs 2.69 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Himalayan is available in three sizes: Base, Pass, and Summit.

The 2023 Royal Enfield Himalayan is powered by a brand new 451cc liquid-cooled engine (RE’s first), dubbed Sherpa 450. This engine generates 40.02bhp and 40Nm of torque at 8,000rpm and 5,500 rpm, respectively. This engine is connected to a 6-speed manual transmission with a slip-and-assist clutch. The engine is canted forward, and the airbox sits over it, making the whole thing more compact than in the previous Himalayan.

The 2023 Royal Enfield Himalayan has 21-inch wire-spoke front and 17-inch rear wheels wrapped in hefty off-road rubber. The braking system is by ByBre and features a single 320mm disc up front and a 270mm disc at the rear, as well as dual-channel ABS.

Royal Enfield has an adjustable basic seat with a height range of 825mm-845mm, as well as an alternative lower seat with a height range of 805mm-825mm. The Himalayan has an all-metal tank that holds 17 litres of petrol. With the tank full, the motorcycle weighs 198kg.
