Chugong is the author of Solo Leveling, a South Korean web novel (나 혼자만 레벨업, Na Honjaman Lebel-eob). Starting on July 25, 2016, it was serialized in Kakao’s digital comic and fiction platform KakaoPage. The complete version of the piece was released by D&C Media under the Papyrus label on November 4, 2016.

In 2023, a spin-off titled Solo Leveling: Ragnarok started serialization, detailing the events that transpired following the conclusion of the novel.

Editing the background and the source
The series began on February 14, 2014, as an unpublished novel and ended with 14 volumes and 270 chapters in its original form. After that, it was released in 2015. On October 10, 2018, the 270 chapters of the novel were serialized. Every twelve hours, a new chapter of KAKAOPAGE becomes accessible.

A-1 Pictures has revealed at Anime Expo 2022 that Solo Leveling would be turned into an anime series, according to Crunchyroll. With the exception of Asia, the series will be simulcast globally on the streaming platform Crunchyroll. Furthermore, Crunchyroll and A1-Pictures worked together to adapt Solo Leveling Manga into an anime following the manga’s phenomenal sales. The anime was simulated by Crunchyroll in a number of languages, including Hindi, English, and others.
