However, we don’t know much about the device or its design. According to a recent leak, the phone will use a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset, and its back will be completely different from previous Nothing models, with three-glyph styling.
Now we have a new leak that shows a device in action in a couple of photos. A PVT unit, which stands for “Production Validation Test,” is a small initial manufacturing batch used to validate and verify that the manufacturing processes are working properly and that the devices meet the required specifications and quality standards. There appear to be two 50MP rear cameras, similar to the Nothing Phone 2, but only a 16MP selfie camera. Nothing OS 2.5 and Android 14 appear to be included with the phone. Take some of these details with a grain of salt, however, because the phone’s About screen also lists 1,000 mAh of battery capacity, which is clearly incorrect.
