Second season of Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken. The story revolves around a man who is killed and resurrected as a slime named Rimuru in another universe. Hinata Sakaguchi, the Chief Knight of the Holy Emperor’s Imperial Guard of the Holy Empire of Lubelius and Captain of the Western Holy Church’s Crusaders, receives a letter from an eastern merchant during this season. She reads about the Jura Tempest Federation and its terrible revelations, as well as the Kingdom of Monsters. What may Hinata be thinking about Rimuru as a former Shizu student? As we begin the upcoming difficult chapter, we shall look back on Rimuru’s story.

Rimuru’s Path to Becoming a True Demon Lord

The mighty Falmuth Kingdom and the Western Holy Church quickly formed an alliance with the purpose of finally destroying Rimuru’s Jura Tempest Federation. Rimuru didn’t see it coming, and his opponents have a few tricks up their sleeves. These two factions have summoned three isekai heroes to battle on their behalf, and Demon Lord Clayman, who is covertly twisting the strings, has Milim Nava on his side. Rimuru was dragged away and clashed with Hinata Sakaguchi, returning home to find his city destroyed and bodies stacked high, including Shion’s. Something clicked in Rimuru’s head, and he finally accepted his beast side.

Rimuru inquires about Milim’s origins out of desperation and discovers that if he sacrifices enough human lives, he would become a True Demon Lord himself, earning new powers. He then launches a ferocious counterattack, personally slaughtering thousands of Falmuth troops and battle wizards while gathering all of their souls to feed the ritual. Rimuru’s transformation is complete, at the expense of the whole Falmuth army, and he employs his new talents to collect the souls of all his fallen compatriots and bring the dead back to life. Shion and the others are back in fighting shape as a result.
