Hands-on images of the vivo iQOO 12

Vivo iQOO 12 is seen in hands-on images and will come with a specialized gaming chip.

The vivo brand today disclosed that the iQOO 12 series will include a new gaming chip called the iQOO Q1 along with a new design and a periscope camera for a combined 100x magnification. The devices will be available on November 7. A few photos of hands-on objects also appeared.

It’s known that the Pro member of the pair will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 CPU, but it’s unknown if the vanilla model will get the same chip. The official teaser makes it clear that BMW Motorosport and this generation will continue to collaborate.

According to Jia Jingdong, who is in charge of branding at the company in China, the roots of iQOO are in online gaming, and devices will always be performance-centric. vivo developed the Q1 chip, designed specifically to support the gaming engine, although details on what exactly it does weren’t provided.It is claimed to have “ultra-high refresh rate” and “super image resolution,” and the gadget itself will have a four-zone cooling system.

The executive disclosed that the iQOO 12 top phone will include a 1/1.3″ sensor for its main camera, and that its ultrawide and telephoto shooters will also be greatly enhanced.

Pictures showed that the two characters in the series will have different designs: one will have slightly curved edges, while the other will have flat sides. There is a black alternative with a sandstone-like appearance, which is reported to be a fluorite AG Glass, similar to the vivo V23 and V25 finish, and a striped red (likely vegan) leather variety. The white Legend version with the BMW M insignia will include a glass panel.

Images of the Black in use further show that, although it doesn’t resemble plastic, it also isn’t your average glass panel.Out of the box, the phones will boot onto OriginOS 4.
