vivo X Fold3

For the impending Vivo X Fold3 and X Fold3 Pro, there have been multiple leaks and teases released. We now have comprehensive specifications from an official-looking poster for the foldables, which are anticipated to arrive later this month.

The X Fold3 series is going to be incredibly light and thin. According to the poster, the X Fold3 and X Fold3 Pro will be smaller when unfolded than the Vivo X5 Max from 2015, which is currently the thinnest phone in the world with a thickness of 5.1mm. We also get confirmation that both upcoming foldables will be lighter than a traditional bar phone though we don’t get the specific weight of the devices. We do get confirmation that both X Fold3 models will be IPX8 rated.

While the X Fold3 is anticipated to come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, the X Fold3 Pro will be the first foldable phone to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and 8.03-inch Samsung E7 AMOLED main panels with 2K resolution, 3,000 nits of peak brightness, and two ultrasonic fingerprint scanners—one on the internal screen and another on the 6.53-inch cover screen—will be available on the X Fold3 series.

Impressive cameras with a 50MP primary shooter, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 64MP periscope module—all with OIS—will be available on the X Fold 3 and 3 Pro. The foldables will have Vivo’s proprietary V3 imaging chip installed.
