India defeated England by 434 runs in the third Test, led by Yashasvi Jaiswal’s Jasball and hometown hero Ravindra Jadeja’s 5-wicket haul, on Sunday in Rajkot. It was a wake-up call for Bazball when England failed to show fight with the bat in their final innings.

On the eve of the final day of play in Vizag, fast bowler James Anderson stated that coach McCullum had inspired the team by telling them they were capable of chasing 600. That belief has helped England develop into a winning machine since Stokes and McCullum took over the leadership group, inspiring them to some remarkable victories, including one in the series opener in Hyderabad against India.
However, England’s Bazball had a reality check as they were swept out for 122 in 39.4 overs in their final innings, losing the Rajkot Test by 434 runs. England were puzzled as Indian spinners, led by hometown hero Ravindra Jadeja, wreaked havoc in the last session of the third Test. The fearlessness was lacking as England batters appeared befuddled after being assigned a challenging target of 557 on Sunday.
